24k Gold Plated M92

A new level of impracticality has been reached with this 24k Gold M92 made by WE. Note, it's gold plated not solid gold, hence it's only $135 from eHobby Asia (buy it here!). In my opinion, it actually doesn't look that nice--silver and black goes better for a pistol, but at least you can say that you own a real gold airsoft gun. It could be of use beyond display too. It fires at 320 FPS with (green gas) and has a 25 round mag. For the price, that's not too shabby. Now all you need is a gold plated pistol case for it to go in.

I've always thought that Gold-plated guns, with the exception of the golden Krinkov from Lord of War, were always too flashy. Guns with scrollwork, such as the custom Colt Single Action Army that Clint Eastwood carried in Hang 'Em High, would be more cool to handle and work with. Although for the price, the gold-plated M92 would be a worthwhile piece, eh?

Yeah but like I pointed out: gold guns are not the best! If you actually gold-plated a real gun the heat from a lot of firing would eventually cause the gold to slag off.

Yeah, the villains would have gold guns (i.e., the golden gun), whereas Bond would use a ppk or a p99...and I believe calvin and I have those, respectively.

Not to mention gold is heavy and soft compared to other metals.

I had forgotten about the golden guns...how could I? Goldeneye N64 ftw!

Also, not to be too nit-picky, but this gun is actually a Beretta M94 Two-Tone Inox. Its a real pistol that is produced mainly for the Combattimento de Speciale Italiano, or the Italian Special Combat Brigade. Its got a longer barrel and heavier/sturdier frame. Its cool, at least.
