| Ever since we started making fortifications a few weeks ago, I've been thinking that we could make up a game type that uses these fortifications as the objective of the game. Here is my suggestion.
There needs to be an odd number of forts/base, either 5 or 7. Maybe 9, but that would take a lot of work. For example, with 5 bases, each team starts with 2 bases each, and one neutral base is in the middle. In order to win, one team must hold and keep their two starting bases, capture the middle neutral base, and proceed to take the other team's bases. The team that controls all 5, or 7, or whatever amount, wins.
Tell me what you think. | |

I know that. We would obviously need to build more, but they could be done quickly, like say, in a day, if about +6 people come to build.

| Kind of an old post I know, but I missed it. I actually like this idea...It would basically play the same way as frontlines, but both teams are attacking and defending at the same time. In any case, we could really use some bases at the other side of the field. Because of all the fortifications on the far side of the field (far side relative to the entrance), the team on that side tends to go on defense naturally. Then the other team takes a more offensive approach and eventually flanks the defenders and wins. So having fortresses on one side of the field is counteracting what we intended. The close side of the field needs a couple good defensive positions. Three bases in one day may be a little ambitious, but two is certainly not too far fetched. Just have two bases being built at once, each by three people. Given 5 hours, we could have two nice bases up. And yes, we just need 6 people to come that won't mess around (sorry about that Nick by the way, that bunker was too much fun to sit in...). But back on topic, I think the game type would work well. It's pretty straight forwrad so I don't see how it could go wrong. | |

| thats great josh, but it seems when we have build days people "conveniently" have other things to do so it ALWAYS turns out to be just me, cameron, merman, and nick, yet EVERYONE else gets to benefit . . . . ..............just saying... | |

| In my defense, I made half of one One of the build days I had a track meet, the other I was too tired. Well you, Cameron, Merman, Nick, and I would be 5 people. Just one more person is needed. Eitrigg I'm sure could come if we give sufficient heads up. Clayton and Nathan are usually up for this kind of stuff, so that would be 8. Oh, and "everyone else" appreciates your work | |

| I agree the one we dug near the carpet tree is what we should focus on, we dug that in about 3 hours with 3 people and no offence, but Cameron didn't do much | |

| well back on topic, i like this gametype. hah kinda sounds like Battlefield's classic CONQUEST mode. soo much fun. <3 battlefield games. anyways it would work, but maybe we start with 1 base each and 3 neutral, OR our 2 starteing bases (per team) are horizontal to eachother. so that way u can attack either 1st. | |

. . . . ..............just saying... And us everyone else thank you lots for it, it was really cool. My dad likes to take me golfing on saturdays, and for a while, we were visiting my G-Pa in SB like every weekend. I might be able to make some, but building stuff makes me feel all self-concious about my pitiful strength.

| Yeah. I don't mean golf with my school team, I mean that's when I get to spend quality time with my dad. But, some saturdays he's too busy, so I'll try to help on those days. | |

| +1 to Nick because that is exactly what I was about to post. No offense taken. And +1 to Clayton too I guess, because I clicked the wrong one xD I noticed that whenever we plan these game types, we never really get around to playing them. It's always Elimination, Elimination, Frontlines. Why don't we have a skirmish dedicated to trying out all the new game types? We might find one that is really good, and we could use some variety. | |

| Yeah. Simple is usually better for airsoft.
The Zombie game for example. We made it super elaborate, but when we played...it wasn't very fun. At all.
But this seems fun, once we get some more bunkers.
