Promotions?

How do you earn promotion/rank progression? I've asked other poeple, but they don't know.

Ah...that's a question I should really put in the FAQ.

Technically, you earn promotion points by attending airsoft events, one point per even you attend. The original idea was to increase attendance to the skirmishes. Now pretty much everyone goes to them anyways, so it is now irrelevant. If anybody has ideas about a better system, please post

Your promotion progress is 5/5 right now because it starts that way on default, and I have to go back and set everyone to zero when they make their "Dog Tag". It's a pain, so I usually don't. Its one of those ideas that is probably actually pretty good, but I just have problems following through with.

Just regular points (as opposed to promotion points) are completely different. You earn those by posting, creating new topics and generally being active on the forums. It's like one point per post and five per topic I think. Or something like that.

i was talking about like forum sentinel points also, why dont we base it on posts? easy enough start up and work our way down,,, that means josh you are a president and i am a important military person lol,,, but really posts is a pretty good solustion, maybe 1 rank for 100, 200, or 250?

Forum sentinel IS based on posts...at least, quantity, not necessarily quality.
